COB LED Full Spectrum

The Application of LED Grow lights:

COB LED grow lights are the future for farming! They are superior to all those traditional horticulture lighting, even the essential working principle is different. COB LED grow lights affect the plant's growth both in the speed and size, they enhance the plant's photosynthesis and save energy because they do not generate wavelengths that plants do not need giving out much less heat radiation and deliver maximum PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) which tells us how much light is falling on a very specific location (i.e. a specific leaf on your plant) every second.

COB LED grow lights will replace all those currently using HPS (high pressure sodium) and MH (Metal Halide) because they offer better control of light spectrum. *Did you know that most horticultural scientists agree that the highest amount of usable wavelengths of the spectrum occur at red (675 nm) and blue (425 nm)? Yet, these two frequencies occur least in MH and HPS bulbs currently on the market. COB LED grow lights provide the optimal specifications for plants to match the photosynthetic curves of Chlorophyll A and B, the two essential ingredients which drive photosynthesis, shower your plants with the most nutrient rays. The tests show 95% of the light from our LED grow lights can be absorbed by plants, while HPS or MH has only get 10% absorption.

Coverage Area

During the vegetative stage of plant growth, plants do not require the same intensity of light as they do during the flowering stage. The unit can be mounted several feet above plants in the vegetative stage and can cover a surprisingly large area with excellent penetration into the canopy. Our unit works extremely well for both the vegetative and flowering stages of growth, and are also ideal for mother plants. For seedlings and clones, it is best to back the light off several feet due to the sensitivity of the plants during these stages. During the heavy flowering stage, it is best to move the light within 3 - 4 feet from the top of the plant for best penetration and coverage.

It is important to closely monitor your plants for any potential bleaching which occurs when the lights are lowered within 3" or less of the canopy. It is difficult to estimate the exact coverage areas for any LED grow light due to several factors including number of plants, height of plants, growth stage, strain type, and container size. We provide a general estimate of coverage area only.
